Beyond Me, Within Me: Edges, Boundaries, Skin, Borders, 2014

In this project, I interviewed participants about their relationship to the inside of their body, whatever that meant to them. I recorded their responses, and then photographed a part of their body based upon their answers. The compiled photos and responses create the content of this book. The material reality of the object was also very important to me at the time, using paper and other materials that evoked skin or other visceral reminders of body in my making process.
