In Defiance; A Celebration, 2018

A double-sided painted canvas flag made as part of a collection of commissioned flags that hung around the perimeter of the Utopian Visions Art Fair, a part of the 2018 Time Based Art Festival in Portland, OR. The commissioned flags were a project put on by Conduit, a curatorial project based in Portland. My flag was a very personal undertaking, and included snippets of a poem written at the time of making.
